A "shoulder to shoulder" competition, is when shooters travel to a host club to compete. Competition is usually held over 2 days with shooters being free to choose which day and time suits them best to attend. All other competition rules apply.
Results are announced at the host club at the end of the 2 days.

A "Postal Shoot" Competition is when all competitors shoot at their home clubs. You are usually given 3-4 weeks to enter. The targets are then sent to the host club for scoring. All other competition rules apply.
Results are sent out to all clubs once scoring has been completed.
Competition open to all ARAA members.
A "detailed" Competition is mainly used for major events such as the Australian Championships. Like the "shoulder to shoulder" it is when shooters travel to a host club, but it is more formal. You are allocated the date and time that you are to compete. All shooters competing in each "detail" start at the same time. All competition rules apply. Australian Championships are usually a 3-4 day event ending with the presentation of major awards.
